Forced March (1916)

Burroughs Wellcome & Co. offered the Forced March tablet from around 1914 to 1916 to the British Army. The name kind of alludes to the purpose of the drug – an extreme performance enhancer to say the least. No longer would troops be burdened by lack of endurance or hunger.

What was Forced March‘s secret to success? Cocaine.
