Devil Disguised as a Beggar

I didn’t realize the Devil needed money so badly.

“The leper beggar is depicted as the Devil with claws. He has his attributes: the clapper, begging bowl with coins, pilgrim’s staff, and the decorative cloth with the pilgrim’s sign of Santiago de Compostella. In front of the figure, a viper crawls out of an egg (viper spawn), and next to him is a burning fire test. His skin shows a scaly rash with pustules and purulent wounds. His left arm rests in a sling.” – Image Description.
